I am considering a P650 or P700. How are the suspensions on these two? Any diffrences? I was looking for a pretty soft suspension, I don't want to get beat up on the trail. It's either the Prairie, or the Rincon. Help me out, guys!

Suspension on the P650 is the same as the P700. If you're looking for a plusher ride then choose the Rincon. Even the mags that don't really like the Rincon admit that it's got the best ride out there.

I disagree I have a P650 2003 and it is great it has a bunch of power but if you are looking for a good ride i would get the new P700 because they are now makeing it independent suspension like the polaris sportsmans

I will go check that out, right away! How are they in speed comparison with the Rincon?

I believe AlexKaw is mistaken. The 2004 P700 has a solid rear axle, just like on the P650. However, the new Artic Cat 650 (which has the P650 engine and transmission) has Indep. Rear Suspension. As far as speed comparisons, the P700/P650 accelerate much faster than the Rincon. So if you want a sporty/fast quad, pick the P700 or P650. If you want a cushy ride and you don't care about acceleration, pick the Rincon or AC 650.

Good luck to you in your selection and Happy trails!

Even if you set the rear shock on the Prairie 650/700's to the soft position it still will not be as smooth as a IRS but again as said before in other post of the past, you are comparing apple to oranges here when you compare a straight axle vs a IRS system.

My '03 P650 was loaded for bear, camo model, warn winch, Titan 489 tires, full skid plates, rear hard case & way too much more to list here. Blue book was $6500 & that is exactly what I got for it.
