I'm a big guy 6'3" 350 this has got to be the ultimate quad for the big guys. The power is awesome and so far on the trails the suspension is very good almost too comfortable. I don't feel there was any other choice for me I'm lovin it cause likin it just ain't good enough. Mike you have fun on yours too

Is it really possible to only ride at half throttle for 10 hrs to complete the break in procedure?? At that rate it will take me 3 months to break in my V... I have a hard time believeing anyone follows the proper procedure.

I don't think it will hurt it to wack it erery once and a while! The main thing is not to hold it wide open during break in! I have about 30 Hrs on mine and It reminds me of driving a Lexis!

First of all, I've always been told, break it in how you plan on riding it. I've never had a problem. And second, did you read the manual MudMoose? I too am a big guy, and I found it humorous that my V Twin monster is only rated to carry a 250lb man. Isn't that funny. I'm probably around 60 to 75 hours on mine, and it's the best choice I've probably ever made.

i just bought a V about 6 weeks ago and man i really love this bike.well, except for the stiff suspension.but i also just sold my DS650 and that thing was the king as far as the ride.i catch myself going way faster on the trails with the V than i ever did on the DS.i was always worried i was going to smack a tree with the DS being so wide.im way more relaxed on the V and i just love the automatic.the reason i chose the V is because i also have the p650 and thats what really made me fall in love with the automatics.you never have to worry about the right gear, just gas it or let off.btw,i bought it used.this 60 year old guy had it for two months and traded it in on a new grizzly.i was pricing a new bike and found this one for $4999 and it only had one little rub mark on the rear fender where you hit it with your foot getting off the bike.other than that is was basically a brand new bike for $1500 lower than list price.
