Default oil filter for a p700

anybody know a p/n and brand of an oil filter for an 04 prairie 700. I just went through the "break in" period on mine, and its time to change. I never had a chance to get it from nyrocs old site. The reason I ask is that there is no dealer close but theres tons of auto parts places. BTW I love the power of this thing, its a blast to ride. Take care and god bless.......Bob

IIRC it's for a late model Mazda V6. If it were me, I'd buy the "Pure One" by Purolator. I've had great success with them.

If you want Kawai parts you can order them from one of the many dealers onlin. I think RonAyers.com has the best prices.

Default oil filter for a p700

FYI: I just bought an oil filter for my P650 (which I'm guessing is the same filter as the P700).

Instead of buying another Kaw. brand oil filter for $10 from my local Kaw. dealer, I bought a Fram (motorcyle) oil filter PH6017A from Walmart for $5.50. Nyroc's old website said that Fram (automobile) oil filter PH6607 will also fit a P650 (which costs $4.50 at Walmart). I compared these 2 Fram filters while at Walmart and they look identical except that the motorcycle filter was about 1/2 inch longer than the automobile filter (holds a little more oil), which is why I bought the motorcyle filter.

Nyroc's old site also said Purolator PL14620 (for an automobile) will fit the P650. I don't know how much it costs b/c my local Walmart doesn't sell it.

Happy trails...
