V-Force or Grizzly for Santa
#1
My youngest son got a KFX-400 for Christmas last year, so I asked Mrs. Claus for a new quad this year and the answer was yes!!! I quess I have been a good boy this year, plus Mrs. Claus got a new Blue '04 Grizzly this summer. Now my dilema. Is it a KFX-700 V-Force or a Grizzly also. Mrs. Claus thinks I should try the V-Force since I ride her new Grizzly like a sort quad. I can't hardly make myself ride my '01 Wolverine anymore. I ride with the boys all the time. Hounddog06 is my oldest son at almost 21 and he rides a wicked 686 Stage II Raotor and Ty on the KFX 400. What do you all think about a 50 year old on a sport quad? I'm kinda leaning towards the V-Force. No, I don't ride as hard as the Hounddog and his shadow(Ty) on the KFX 400, but close. Which color Lime Green or Lava Red?

Definately go with the V. You allready have a Grizz in your garage, plus you'll be able to keep up and ride with your boys. I'm kind of partial to the Lava red one for some reason As for your age, my dad has a sportsman and my mom rides a 400 trail blazer 2x4 so when he wants to put around or plow the snow off the driveway, he rides the sportsman, when he goes riding with me he rides the 400. The best of bothworlds He is 63 and mom is 60. You're never to old for a sport bike.

If you enjoy the sportier ride, then get either the V Force or the 700 Prairie... I've raced guys that can run a lap in a hare scramble, faster than the A class rippers, on 650 & 700 Prairies...
I ride mine like a V Force, jumping etc... only my lower fenders keep me from wearing all the mud on trails... as I've gotten older, I don't want to slow down, just not get quite as dirty...LOL...

Hey Bluegoose, I know someone else that falls into that category – 50 years old with a Grizzly and a V-Force (except that the Grizzly is mine rather than in the family). Unless you have a real need for 4WD I’d suggest the V-Force especially since it sounds like you like to hot dog your wife’s Griz. It’s good to have a variety of quads in the family (to accommodate different moods or different riding conditions) and I can promise you that you will have a LOT more fun on the V-Force than what you had on the Wolverine (I’ve been there too). The V-Force can putt around if that’s all you want to do or it can really rip when you want to. Which color, well that comes down to what tickles your fancy the most…

vnasty, I want a wolverine so I can go back to having a 4 -wheel drive . I miss muddin with my friends who all have 4-wheel drives. My v-force is so much faster then all my friends , that I do not have a challenge in the trails. Here are my friends quads and you will know why it is boring to ride with them. 3 honda 450 es foremans, 1 rubicon, 1 polaris 700, 1 grizzly, 2 blasters, 1 honda 300 4x4. See what I mean???. Plus I need some money real bad and can't keep my v. awesome bike , but need the money more.
