The core for the cams is your stock cams. You can change the cams yourself if you have fairly decent mechanical skills, if not you should seek some help. A small mistake in timing the cams can be costly. The 300 requires boring and unless Greg has a new sleeve setup it requires stripping the case to bore the cyl opening in it as well just like the 330 kit.

Just call CWR and Greg will be happy to discuss all questions you have.

Clover, CWR is Cycle Works Racing in PA. They do all types of work on quads and bikes and sell performance parts. Greg, the owner, is a Mojave nut and kinda specializes in Mojave mods. No web site but the phone number is 717 637 1907.

405 good for all out racing only, no trails or play riding. 380 much better if you plan to do both. You can get it and the 330 kit from CWR.

CWR is in PA. I dont think the kfx carb has a pump since I think it is a CV type. Not sure though. The 400ex has a pump and works great on the mojave.
