clamp on air filter for mojave

Can anyone tel me the exzact measurements for a k&n clamp on filter and would i need to change the main jet?

1996 Kawasaki Mojave 250
DG bumper
K&N filter
13t 41t 12t 11t Sunstar sprocket
RK 520x90 Chain
CR 80 Rental Bars
Kenda Bear Klaws 22-12-10
DG Krome Power exhaust

clamp on air filter for mojave

the opening at the carb is 2 1/8 in. the filter probably could be 4 or 3 in. wide x 4 in. long. and you most likly will have to re jet it because you will be getting more air.

dafuzz has a k&n clamp on for sale $30 shipped I think, I sold it to him cuz I'm parting out my mo, its a nice filter with outerwear.

which clamp on is the best for a mojave a k&n or a UNI.

Depends on who you talk to, some say the k&n won't catch the smaller dust particles but we have run them on our dirt track race cars for years with no problems. We run the outerwears prefilters though.
