My brother has a tecate 4 bored to 265 that beat a raptor in a 1/4 mile race by 2 quad lenghts, 2 years wasnt enough for this mean machine

 

never rode a tecate but heard their damn fast. What was done to the raptor?

 

Well it should have.. Should have beat it by more IMO. Those 265's are nothing to laugh at. In the late 80's my Dad had a tecate 3 wheeler and it was the 7th fastest 3 wheeler in the USA. No BS, he has the National Trophy to prove it.

 

the raptor has a gytr pipe and k&n filter, i have pics of the tecate too, i will get those on here later

Hey Narabia, nice bike. I didn't know they made tecate quads, I only thought they were made as ATC's. What year is yours?

 

a friend of mine had a tecate 3 and we put a kx500 motor in it. oh my god, that thing was death trap
fast. it wupped up on my tecate 4 all day long, and that was fast itself. if they would of made the 4's alittle wider they would of handled better. i flipped the rims around on mine, that helped a little. wish i still had it!!!
