The hpd plain and Dalton blue are worlds apart . The Hpd plain is to stiff on the top side to run in a v-force .

Rick,
I just heard that you were getting involed developing better clutching for our V-forces. Thank you, we can use the help .

Is there one set up out there right now that you would recommend for cross country racing? I have been thinking of going with the entire Dalton clutch kit myself.

Phil.

Rick,I was wanting to see how the HPD Plain ran with my set-up,XC800(Randy) has tried it and he said it worked great. The Dalton System works like it should, but I need some thing with more stall for drag racing.I'm guessing that the 58g Dalton weights would work better with the HPD spring to help over come the stronger rate. The stock weights are to light (56g) to do this.I just want to see how the pull is with this set-up.I want my bottom to mid a little quicker,top-end kicks a$$.

I've got a HPD plain, Been used once. I like the EPI pink w/2 shims as well. I will swap you if you'd like, I don't like the stall; too hard to load with ramps into the back of my truck once we're out in the country. PM me w/address if interested.
