Mojave Jetting
#1
I am thinking about putting a Supertrapp IDS2 on my Y2K Mojave. I know the jetting will have to be adjusted, but...
1 - Where are the jets located on the carb, and how do you change them?
2 - How hard are they to change (special tools)?
3 - Do both the pilot and main jet need changing, or just the main?
4 - When checking the mixture using the spark plug color method, how long do you run it before checking the plug?
4 - White Brothers makes air box vents (little screened plugs you put on the lid) to increase the air flow. Are they needed? I've heard even though the air box is weird, it has pretty good thru-put.
I know these are dumb questions, but since I don't know, I have to ask! <grin>
