Wondering if anyone else has had this happen, and if anyone can provide any advice. Lost my front brakes, so I took it to the shop. My service man said a defective front knuckle is causing the problem (shattered). Have to get it replaced. Kawi has 38 (nationwide) on back order with no available date to provide.

My quad's been in the shop for 2 weeks with no end in site. Only saving grace is at least I've got the extended warranty and they say it's covered.

Any thoughts for a quicker repair.......Anyone had any success reaching Kawi, and complaining(if so do you have a contact name and number). I've only got 45 hrs. and very very low miles (I use it to plow, and mow)......it's snowing and I need something.

All help/advise is appreciated.

 

It's a stretch, but you may be able to talk your dealer into taking one off a new "crate" quad, then having them istall the replacement on the new one when it comes in ... my local dealership has done similar parts swaps, before, for me... although nothing requiring that amount of service work... you may find a used one out there... I think PRAIRIEVENOM, had a wrecked Prairie, that they were looking to part out ... or check E-Bay... although, going this route, would most likely require you to purchase the part... Good Luck...
