the kfx 400 with a slip on and a k&n filter with open air box where is a good starting point on jetting and pilot my altitude is around 300ft any help would be great thanks[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

what kinda pipe and filter you got? all i know is your going to need to re-jet if u didnt yet with those mods depending on what kind

 

i removed the inside baffle and increased the endcap size on the stock silencer i added a cold air package with a k&n open filter with the airbox lid removed thanks[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

I would say since its a slip on a 170 main jet would do the trick up from a 135.I have the same stuff done to my kfx400 but I have full pipe kit.This web site HMF is were I got the info for hmf atv pipe jetting.But different pipes probably differ.

If you haven't got it running right yet, try a 155 main, 27.5 pilot, needle on 3rd clip, all with the air box lid off. If that doesn't work, let us know if you think its runnin rich, lean, or whatever. Good luck!
