edelbrock 38mm 400 ex pumper carb for Mojave?

Default edelbrock 38mm 400 ex pumper carb for Mojave?

I hear a non cv carb will make the Mo rip is this true?I have a big gun kn airfilter dyno jet kit an it made a difference,I wanna get more outta of it,an was gonna look at the 330 kit from fst but if I go w bigger egine I dont want to have to change everything when I can just go buy a new quad.If any 1 knows anything on mods or experiences w this or the edelbrock carb for the 400 ex let me know

Default edelbrock 38mm 400 ex pumper carb for Mojave?

Go with the 400 ex carb. It's 1.5 mm larger than the stock mojave carb and has an accelerator pump. Although I haven't installed this setup yet- I have it on the way from ebay- mojaveaddict has given me all the pointers. I have a KLR CDI box and am gonna go with some .380 cams and 1 mm over sized stainless valves. Rock on, man!

Default edelbrock 38mm 400 ex pumper carb for Mojave?

The KLR CDI box does not have a rev limiter as does the mojave's. But, you will only notice it's difference with some hotter cams.
