P 650 noise in low range
#1
Today while riding my p650 I tried out low range it worked fine for a minute, then when you let off the throttle
a slight clunk came out of it. I thought nothing of it, kept riding it then let off the throttle and went to stop I thought the transmission was going to fly right out threw the belt case. The worst noise came out of it now every time you have it in low range and let off the throttle it will make an awful racket. On top of it all my engine brake is making an awful noise too. Nothing seems to be slipping. In high range it will make a slight ticking noise in low range it makes that awful noise does anyone know what it might be or have heard of this before? I have only owned the bike for a month now, I thought maybe the linkage is out of adjustment but by the sound of the noise I think it let something go. It is quite a loud noise. It goes back to the dealer wednesday and I am not leaving until they find out what it is. Thank goodness it has 2 year warranty. Skun
