i have just got done messing with my quads air box. first i cut out that baffle i gues you call it, the plastic peice in the air box right by the stock hole. then i drilled another whole 2 1/8 inch. so now i have 2 2 1/4 tubes (shop vac tubes) running up on top of my front fender. then there coverd by the carben fiber hood i have and it looks and works nicely. then i put in a k&n air filter in and i drove it a little to see how bad my jets were off and like i thought i need to change them big time. i dont kno where to start on this.. i have a dyno jet stage 1 kit but i have been looking on here and some you say not to use this and i dont kno if i have a big enuff jets in this kit... anyone have any ideas of what jet size i should use of the dyno kit or the keihin jets? should i put the dyno needles in or what?i live at about 1000ft thanks for anyhelp you can give me.. im prolly askin alot but oh well haha

Nick, I was told the same thing about the stage 1 kit and everyone was correct. I have my air box open but not as open as what your's is and I'm running 150/155......larger than what you'll find in the stage 1 kit. I bought individual jets from Sudco's and played around. Elevation and other factors will play a big part in where you'll end up in your jetting. Off topic, but please post some pics of your "V" with the carbon fiber hood. I've only seen one or two pics of the V-Force CF hood and would like to see other shots. Thanks.
