One of my employees checked out the cost of chroming a Raptor frame here in Akron Ohio ... was told $200 if if did the prep work.

 

Chrome plating is rather heavy as well.....if you plan on prepping your own stuff, you might as well polish it, and call her good.

There is that one crazy raptor dude that had his quad gold plated, now that wasn't cheap!

 

That sounds more realistic.

 

Getting it plated might well be $200, but the prep work will be much more. IF you do it yourself, you better be a real good polisher, or it will look like crap.
