1985 kawasaki bayou 185 has spark and gas will not start. new plug rebuilt carb. what do you thing could be wrong. what can i try. anything to test.

Could be a few things...what condition is the motor in? Hows the compression? Valve clearance? Could just be too cold and too lean? Try covering the air intake with your hand to "choke" it? Could be battery run down, and it wont spin fast enough.

it has good comp. brand new battery. i removed the air filter and put my hand there it is spitting out alot of gas. what are the settings for the screws.

no i don't have a manual i just got the quad. it has been out side for a week now and the temp has not been above freezing in a 30 days here
