OK guys,
Shortcut and 98
you guys look like you got some pretty bad Lakota's....
Now I've been thinking if I should just buy a 400 or keep puttin money into the kota
what do you guys think?
is it worth it?.....are they fun?....what times of quads can you run with?
top speeds?

its hard to find people with modded lakotas
theres only a few, you guys have some hot ones
what would you say?.....buy somethin faster?, or put some money in?

The Lakota is a fun ride, especially in the woods. Right now I am in the process of rebuilding my engine. Unless you want to spend lots of money, you will have trouble finding parts. Even stock replacement parts are hard to come by. Wiseco used to make a high comp piston for it, but now they only make the stock 8.6:1. There are companies out there that will machine a piston for you to what ever compression you need, but it will cost you about 3 times what a normal high comp piston would(should). I understand that performance isn't cheap, but if I can find something, I will be buying a z/kfx or a EX and selling the lakota just because of how hard it is to find parts.
