6 Degree Timing Key
Is this an install and forget it modification or should you replace key every year? Hearing a lot of pros and cons (performance increases and key failures) on the forums. Has anybody did a DYNO test with the timing keys?

I am considering this mod a plug & play
since there is really no pressure on the key itself....IMO.....the crank shaft and the flywheel are taperlocked
I am not in the least worried about key failure....if your retaining bolt comes loose you are going to have
key failure no matter what key you are running

when you can ck. your jetting by going a couple hundred ft full throttle and killing the ign. by pulling kill switch or shutting off key and check both plugs for color. you don't want black on the end and you don't want light tan. you almost want a light brown. do not let off on the throttle when you do this, killing ign.
