New Prairie CDI

SgtRock,
Sounds like a plan.
I can't wait to hit 80+mph with that new CDI and clutch set up Alltoys is sending me as we speak. This year should be fun at the drag strip bring on those DS 650's, Raptors, V-Forces, and 450's. Sgt you should bring that 765 over to Zink City and give it a try. Folks can't believe it is 4WD!

HighLifter has a ICM for the V-twin Kawi engine out also. It is not designed to increase rpm, but to change
timing for more power output. In fact it looks like it lowered max rpm. Increased rear wheel hp by 6.5 with a Supertrapp. $110.
Might be worth considering

Yes the new cdi is out through Dyna here are some of the specs. 33* of timing comes on from 1000 rpm just over idle has a slope to 4000 rpm, a rev limit of 9200 absolutely no retard to max rpm limit, no reverse limiter full reverse so be careful, no belt deflection reminder after 100 hours either. If your belt slips then adjust it you will not have to worry about the switch and have to limp home or remember the sequence to reset the belt switch. The quad starts easier runs cooler by 200* at 2 inches from exhaust the extra timing does help. The OEM system was so restrictive it is interesting how a little advance can make the motor perform to its expectations and run cooler congratulations to the engineers.
A new cdi is finally here thanks to Dyna Tech for listening. Testing has been HHOOOOoootttt!!!!!!!! More testing to come with V Force as well.
Price will be around $235 US I gather there will be a performance cdi later on if there is enough of a demand. You can bet my name will be on one of the first run of those. For now we have a plug and play CDI that will live up to the performance of the machine preproduction units have been tested through some of harshest Northern Canadian Climate without a hiccup.

I am anxious for people to do those side by side test on that HL module. I'm even more anxious to see Dyno runs with this Dyna CDI.
Hey you guys, if the Dyna CDI was affordable, like $200 to $250, and if I were to get one, I'm not sure I could live without that rev limiter in reverse. I hit someone backing up when I had the button pushed and my front tire hit a rock. My 650 jumped backwards because I was in 4x4, and my thumb got forced into the gas while backing. No harm was done, but it was a close call.
I really wish that reverse limiter was there. I hope that one of these electrical gurus could make a limiter box that causes the magnetic pulse to stop if the engine revved over 3000 or so while in reverse.
My 650 is already off limits to anyone under 21. With the Dyna CDI, I think I would just about have to keep everyone off it.
