VNASTY, great minds think alike! Took the "round" tips off when I first got them and did as you said.....polished the heck out of the aluminum tips that were underneath. They do look bad a$$ !!

MARK,How much did it cost to have your header pipes Jet Coated? And where did you have it done? Also what air box mods are you running and jets?

VNASTY, the Sterling coat for both pipes only ran me $135....I called them first just to get a little info and the guy asked what I wanted coated and my address and in what seemed like less than a week I got a packet in the mail from Jet Hot. In it was a quote for the two pipes ($135) a bunch of color brochures and a video tape to watch on "The Jet Hot Process". Unreal right, all for a $135 quote.....these guys are gooooood. They have 3 different locations (one is close to where I live) but the coatings are only applied at their Pascogoula, MS facility....that's where they had me send the pipes. As far as the air box goes I installed two of the "slider type" air vents, cut out the center divider and put in a K&N filter with an Outerwear pre-filter (some say the K&N WITH the prefilter is like having a stock filter but I'm not so sure I believe that). As far as the jetting goes, currently I am running a 150/155 but I really have not had time to tweak it.....the 150/155 got me in the ball park but I still want to play around a bit to get it just right.
