Does anyone know how I can erase the letters from the tire. I tried blacking the one with a sharpie marker and now it looks all purple. Any Ideas!!!!!

 

Try some Simple Green, dont use water just let it sit for couple mins then scrub with course side of a Dishwash sponge......

 

Hey Mental, Have you done this before- Is goo b gone the same kind of stuff?

 

Goo gone is more of a sticky substance remover..you actually want to remove very thin layer of rubber....Without harming the tire....If you were crafty enuff to aquire a tire shaver you could plain a very thin layer of the raised yellow lettering..

 

dremel tool with a small wire wheel, stinky but works.

Why do you want to erase them?. I have a full set of xcr setting in my room and they look cool. especialy mounted on baja rims.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

Best! and most FUN way to Erase them are Tight, Wooded, Rocky, Coal filled Pennsylvania Trails!

Try brake fluid, It'll eat anything. Just don't let it sit on there too long. Try wiping off the letters with some fluid on a rag.

 

get the letters off the old fasion way....ride!
