Nyroc ... LOL When ever I need to weld something I like to support so it will never break again. Also using too hot temps will weaken at the point of weld so who ever you take your machine to make sure they know what they are doing or your problems will never go away. Fine cracks from my past experience is not a problem it's a word of caution and you have to just keep your eye on it. BTW is your engine mounts tight because that would cause premature wear on your mounts. I don't recommend a honda then if that turns you off of a kawi because the racks on hondas would be your worst nightmare.

I had heard that KAW was fixing the cracked motor mounts. Where did the frame crack. The rear section cracks if you run with a heavily load "6-pack" rack, it can be fixed. SEE: nyroc's pics, LOL
Mine was a great bike. I traded it for a P-700 because I realized that I was NOT a sportbike kinda guy! I love the big Prairies.
