All HMF products are loud. They sell quiet core inserts for all of their pipes.

I AM PLANNING ON GETTING THE QUIET CORES BUT AM STILL CONCERNED WITH THE NOISE OUTPUT. HOW WELL DO THE INSERTS KEEP THE NOISE DOWN?

Well I have the full dual HMF system and even with the quiet cores in, it is really loud. If you have touchy neighbors, this system is not for you. I don't go ***** out when going through my neighborhood so mine don't say much about it. All in all I love it though. Fit and finish were top notch with no problems after almost a year of use.

Its funny how neighbors can get so bent out of shape over a piped ATV, but they LOVE thier Harley's and big metric V-twins with thier striaght pipes!!! WTH

I experienced this first hand last summer... My neighbor that lives a couple of houses down from me has a Harley that is louder than my V. If he rides through the neighborhood he gets all the waves and hellos. If I take the V through I get glares and a "why does that thing have to be so loud" comments... I guess I need more chrome to justify my pipe volume???

My neighbors never seem to have problem with mine. I usually just run it up and down the street once or twice here and there, if it hasn't been run in a few weeks. I usually end up getting a big smile along with a nod of approval. I'm sure the walleye fillets and venison sausage I'm constantly handing out has something to do with it.

Most of my neighbors have ATV's also so they just wave when I go rumbling by.
