Did I read in the magazines somewhere that Kawasaki was making a larger version of the Prairie 400?

Does anyone know anything about a Prairie 600 or 650?

One of those rumors that makes a little too much sense to be false.

Let's keep our fingers crossed. A Prairie 600 would be the new king... Watch out Honda here we come!

I would like to see a big bore from Kawasaki! I would also be interested in purchasing one!

I hope kawi does come out with the 600cc or 650cc engine because I like the competition between the copanies.

If my source (a GNCC racer at a local Honda/Kawasaki dealer) can be believed, Kawasaki has an even bigger surprise than a 650 in store for all fans of the Bayou/Prairie.

My source claims to have seen the Kawasaki factory rep's pictures of a V-twin super utility quad. It is supposedly powered by the 800cc Vulcan street bike engine.

Kawasaki is currently the only major manufacturer not fielding a big-bore quad. They DESPARATELY need something in the way of a big-bore utility, or sport-utility, quad in their line-up. An 800cc V-twin could be just the thing to knock the socks off of the competition.

One of the ATV magazines had an April fool’s picture of a V-twin Prairie. Like I stated on the Polaris forum I would like to see multi-cylinder engine instead of simple creating bigger singles. Who really knows? Kawasaki got to get it in gear and something!

I saw the same April Fool's picture. I even mentioned it to my source when he first told me of the V-twin super utility quad. My source emphatically denied the pictures he saw were a hoax. Only time will tell if he is right.
