135/140 is correct higgs, 138/142 is the next notch up. After the pipes and jetting, do you still want to trade to a 450? Looks like with your mods you've decided to stay Let us know how your first race goes. By the way, mine are the T-6 pipes. I noticed that you have h3.

I don't have much info as far as comparing goes. I just installed the Dalton cover and put my hpd plain spring back in. My power seems best off the line, but it pulls well all the way through. The raptor and 400ex that I mentioned were beating me badly @ 200ft, 300ft, and beyond before the pipes, jets, and snorkel delete. After that, I was beating both of those. We usually race on pavement. I borrowed a trick from the local atv drags. They either put solid struts(metal tubing) in place of the front shocks, or compress the front shocks with ratchet tie-downs. I went the tie-down route. I threaded the straps through the mounts on each side and ratcheted the springs down a couple inches. This allows for some massive launches. I will look up some local raptors asap and try to get some honest answers about their mods when we race. I'll let you know how it goes. I wish there were more V's around here to compare mods with; mostly raptors in my neighborhood. If anyone out there tries the ratchet tie downs, you may want to put a piece of rubber or something around the spring or else the ratchet will want to "bite" into them. It's also a good idea to duct tape the ratchet part closed when you get them where you want. Be careful at higher speeds as the V will handle pretty funny. You can also pull the rear down by threading a tie-down through the rearend and the grab bar. Once you get the suspension compressed, you can launch full throttle with no problem. Just doing the front is normally enough. If anyone does this, please be careful. I have done it repeatedly, but I hate suggesting something that may be unsafe. If you just pull the front down slightly, it allows better launches and won't kill the handling. I pull mine down pretty far, but I have gotten used to how it handles like that.
