a friend of mine and I were talking about being able to buy IRS to put on your straight axle quad, more precislely a P700. and i didnt think there was a kit to do that but he seems to think so.. have any of you heard of this?

 

anything is possible, if you want to spend enough money, but I'm not aware of a premade kit to do this...

 

I was told by my dealer where I bought mine that next year Kawasaki is going to make two versions of the prairie700......One with IRS and the other as it is now. Both are going to be EFI as well. There will also be a v-twin 500 kawasaki with the same set up. This is what the parts counter manager said. OF COURSE ANYONE CAN B.S. YOU. I hope it is true though........He also said that they think that it will be bumped up to 750cc, but I don't know if any of this is true. It sure would be nice, but then again, I am extremely happy with mine, and furthermore, where is the limit going to be????

 

Even if irs was done, what would you hope to accomplish? Cheaper to trade.

 

Why not just buy the Artic Cat that is a Prarie with IRS and mod the motor to 700 and save some money.

 

I dont know what it would accomplish... im very happy with my P700 the way it is, but i just needed an answer to a debate. I wonder how much the P700 with EFi and IRS will cost?
