Default CT Pipe for KFX-700

Hey Mickey! I am having the equal length single muzzy put on on tues. It will be rejetted and I opted for a simple twinair outer ring for better in flow. I would like to get yor oppinion on the epi pink springs with the o stall 161 shiftout. and a cdi unit also. Does the different clutch springs have the annoying increase in throttle lag b4 engagement? What does the pink spring do that helps increase seat of pants for hills and general trail riding? suggestions? jamesabrody@aol.com much appreciated!!!

I will run my Muzzy on tues. with my cdi but I don't have any feed back on clutching a stocker. Dalton has only sent me suff for the 800cc motor.

Hey Zero,

The pink won't have any increase in "throttle lag" over stock, because both have zero stall. The 161 rating is a little higher than stock, but you're not going to notice huge gains. If you want to really increase the amount of time you spend in the power band for climbing hills you need to go up to a spring with some stall, or higher than zero engagement. Springs are so cheap get more than 1, get 2 or 3... get the pink, get something else with a 180 or 200 (maybe 30 stall). If you absolutely can't stand any 'lag' then the pink is the best you can do anyway. You can get the pink and then shim it up a little at a time. These guys that go to heavier springs get used to it (I myself am happy with pink, but I don't drag).
