Not a single problem in 4 months. Can't justify the extended warranty to myself... yet.

Only thing... limited edition plastic is brittle. Get green or orange.

its been my experience with alot of stuff that the only time you need extended warrenty is when you dont buy one and then the day after factory warrenty runs out all heck breaks loose.. just my 2 cents i always get it and then im covered just in case..

well i wish ya luck I just have had alot of headaches with mine. the first frame bent at the steering post mount from a very low speed roll. now the rear engine mounts are cracking at the weld. AND the cup or bearing that is at the end of the steering post is now bad, causing play in the steering. (its a 90.00 part ) oh I havnt even had the belt light come on yet ( I dont even ride it much! )

MickeyDunlap thanks for the scoop on the dealer price. Now I know I got a decent deal.

Got mine in July for $6200-no f&s got the extended warr 1 day before it ran out-my dealer sold me a 4 year for $425 -Kawi wanted over 600 bucks-. I asked him about mods he said he wouldn't tell- didn't care. 4th quad from there and he knows I'm a mech.

did the warranty cover that bent frame piece? mine did the same. i straightened it back out so far, but its still really far off. i had assumed since it was a 'user error' that the warranty wouldnt cover such, even though it shouldnt have really bent in the first place.
