what's the fix ?
#1
I posted this before but got little response, but i'll try again.
Has anyone ever noticed that their rims are turning inside their tires ? I've had 27" mudlites mounted on the stock rims of my KVF 650 all last season and when I took them off last fall noticed that the rims had been spinning on the tires....well...I recently got some ITP C-Series, due to rubbing problems with the right rear, and after the first trip with them yesterday, I noticed again, the rear rims are turning on the tires. I haven't had any tires go down due to this, but am just wondering if anyone else has noticed this...and if so...what's the fix ? Possibly a coating of rubberized "bead sealer" on the rim to hopefully hold the tire better ???

yea, might just try that also...with a thin coating of bead sealer...can't hurt any. I change all my own tires, so i'll hafta take the time and try a few things. I also just purchased another set of c-series to use with some holeshot atr's, but haven't tried this combo out yet..hopefully they won't spin on me too.
