trying to find information out on installing the the dg snorkel and the dial-a-jet system, i called dial-a-jet and they said the system for the v-700 sits into the air box, so i am wondering if i should remove the baffle in the box when i install the dg snorkel and the dial-a-jets. they told me that thers system would work either way but i am sure one way is better than the other.
if anyone has done this or has any comments on what you think would work the best, please post your thoughts
thanks crash.

Guy I talked to at Diamond G yesterday said not to remove it. Said vac slide carbs too sensitive, would hurt throttle response. Said might have small HP gain on mid - top end but would hurt low end th. response. I'm not gonna do it.

I did mine too. My V is running too rich, so I thought it would help when I get my Muzzys on! I have not noticed a decreace in any power!

I also spoke with a guy who knows alot about these carb setups, and he said not to cut it out because it "evens" the airflow in the airbox, he said if you cut it out that one side would be getting alot more air than the other side.
THANKS FOR THE REPLYS FROM ALL OF YALL, I AM NOT GOING TO CUT THE AIRBOX.
HOPE TO SEE GOOD BENIFITS FROM THE SNORKEL AND THE DIAL-A-JET SYSTEM W/O CUTTING THE BOX.
