Does anyone know the NAPA crossover number for the 04 Prairie oil filter?

Default P-700 oil filter

All oil filters listed below have the right threads for the 650. This list was compiled by a very technically minded motorcycle enthusiast. Note that most motorcycles and ATV's use the same threads on their filters. I have verified some of these filters myself, but not all.
Here it is!

The thread depth is a concern on some quads like the Prairie 400 and Grizzly 660, since the oil fitting does not have threads all the way to the filter sealing surface. In those cases, you can see which of these filters provide the appropriate thread depth by opening the package and measureing the depth with a caliper. I helped a 660 owner find a filter and we just looked for one that had deep recessed threads similar to the OEM filter.

The 650 does appear to have any of the same thread depth problems as many other quads have, so I think all of these filters will work well with it.

Motorcycle-Specific Filters - (About 2.5 to 3 inches long)

Purolator Motorcycle ML16817 about $6.00

NAPA Gold 1358, Carquest 85358, WIX 51358 about $7 to $8

AC Delco PF2135 about $10

FRAM PH6017A about $7

STP SMO-017 about $6 Autozone

Amsoil SMF-103

Automobile Filters - (About 3.5 inches long - fit reference 1994 Mazda MX-3, V-6 Engine)

Mobil 1 M1-110 about $10

Bosch 3323 about $5

Purolator Pure One L14620 about $6

NAPA Gold 1356, Carquest 85356, WIX 51356 about $6

Deutsch D-370 about $4

AC Delco PF-2057 about $6

Motorcraft Long Life FL-821 about $4

STP S-02867 about $3

FRAM, Castrol, Penske 7317 about $3

Automobile Filters - (About 2.5 inches long - fit reference Mazda RX-7 and Miata)

Bosch 3300 about $5

NAPA Gold 1365 about $6

Purolator L14622 about $5

AC Delco PF1237 about $6

STP S-02876 about $3

FRAM PH6607 about $3

Note that some motorcycle and ATV engines have different oil pressure specifications than automobiles do. The 650 oil pressure is within the range of automobiles and is a perfect candidate for an automotive filter. I can't tell you whether you can use an Automotive filter on other quads. You do some reasearch if you aren't sure.
