Procom CDI

There is nothing wrong with procom. I gave them the specs to build mine. If they don't work good it's because someone doesn't know how to tune the jetting or they didn't change any of the timing. They would have built them to the specs someone ask them for.

I respect your input Mickey, but if you take a look in the yamaha forums you can see that every owner that has purchased one and talked about it has been changing their mind as soon as they get on the dyno. They have all noticed an increase in low end hp and a loss of a few peak hp. Some have also seeen that the hp drops off faster in the higher rpms, despite increased rev limits. You may have some different experience, but all of the sport quad owners I have talked to have been lukewarm on it at best.

Mickey,
you have sold several of your CDIs to V-Force owners by now. Have you received any feedback on your CDIs performance?
I told our local shop to order me one of your CDIs, but as of yesterday they had not "got around to it" yet (they said something about not being able to find your phone number).

What I am saying is procom is a good company. It matters WHO made the specs is what I am saying. What did they change and WHO gave them the specs and what was the cdi made to do? People want a magic box they can bolt on and get major gains and that is not going to happen even with mine. It will make it better and the more you do to the inside of the motor the better it will work.
