I don't know if P650 aftermarket skid plates will fit a P700 but I have Ricochet skid plates on my P650 that I purchased from Rocky Mtn. ATV and I think they are fine and do a great job of protecting the undercarriage, easy to install and well made.

Cleve- so do the skids you have protect the drive cover well, are there any areas that they don't cover?? What do you do when you change the oil, service the engine, do they get in the way???

I like the Ricochet bullet line as well! They offer Great Protection. There is a drain hole for changing Oil. Also Because of the easy u shaped brackets You can take them off and put them back on with no problem.
Install the Full Set in under 1/2 hour, Just pop her up on her rear wheels and your good to go! ~Chris

Count me in for ricochet to. Mine have been holding up well. And they have pre cut holes to match up for oil drain plugs on front and on the engine. I had to drill a hole in my rear one though. wasn't a big deal but i wish it would have came stock with it.

I also have the 2 peice skids . They give exellent protection and helps slide over thick mud easier.
The reason they don't come stock on the bike is the weight issue. All Japenees makes come from
overseas , so if they weigh more than 600 pnds , it costs much more for shipping.
Thats why North American made bikes (Polaris, Bombar.) are much hevier than Japs.. and have better
undercarriage protection.
