Howdy gang,
I have picked up on a little rumor about a new module. It should be available in about 3 weeks. It will have the bottom end power and it incorporates a microprocessor which will give mid and top end power too. It will also be quite a bit more economical than the CDIs. Should be interesting!! Have a goodun!!!!

Ross650,
Is this new module you are talking about supposed to come from Diamond G or someone else? Just curious.

Happy trails...

Mikey Boyesq,
It will come from D/G. It will completely replace the original Holeshot. It also comes with an extra wire for connecting a on/off switch. Here is the good part, it will be priced about the same as the original Holeshot. I am in line for one. It will be quite a bit cheaper than the CDIs. I think it may do the same thing. Have a goodun!!!!!

Ross,

I am a fan of Diamond G, and have the snorkle. I have talked with Bearman in the past. You can wait for something that may, or may not, materialize in the future. I bit the bullet and ordered the Dyanatek unit this morning. $222.30 ($247 minus 10% "early bird" discount) for a bird in the hand, vs $100 for one in the bush.

Howdy Adirondack,
I know we waited a long time for the unlimiter. I wanted one too. Sounds like this one might be the best of both worlds. This does require removal of the Holeshot. I think that part of the wait for the unlimiter was the move that D/G is involved in. I know that I have every product that D/G makes for my Prairie and every one of them has been top notch in operation and quality of manufacturing. My son also uses D/G products on his Prairie and his V-Force. He is extremely satisfied with the fit and function also. I hope your CDI works as advertised, I am sure it will. When I get my module I will let you know how it performs & you do the same with yours. Have a goodun!!!!!!!

Hey Ross, where can I order / get info on this new module? I have a P700 and want a boost in performance, but don't want to bite the bullet for the CDI.. I went to D/G website, but didn't see anything about even the holeshot..... any info??

Thanx!

Call Diamond G Racing at 714-299-3865 and talk with Don! Superior service and great to talk with. I am on the list for one of the new moduals and I plan to do a test with it against the new CDI as soon as I have both! If it works as well as Don has told me it will there will be alot of people who will opt for the cheaper modual instead of the CDI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think there are that many CDI out there yet,

No reason to think that the hole shot or the CDI wouldn't run good with the D-a-J, that I can think of.
