Default Prairie ball joint removal

I have a 2002 Prairie 650 that has a bad ball joint. I removed the snap ring and the ball joint slid out of the A-arm,but the ball joint wont come out of the steering knuckle. Does anyone have any experience or advice on how to get the ball joint out of the steering knuckle?

You should be able to go to the auto parts store and buy tie rod pickle fork. That should pop it right out. Just don't use it on good ball joints it will wreck the boot.

Did a ball joint on my P400
put the nut back on till it is flush with the top of the bolt
smack it with a hammer...and it will pop right out

The fork is for separating the tapered shaft from the strut; not popping the ball out of the lower control arm. The ball is pressed into the arm.

Try as Kawakasi said. It should work fine. If it is stubborn, try a bigger hammer or some heat. Pop it in a 200 degree oven for 15 minutes; or put a heat gun on it. But don't burn the paint.
