Actually, I'd like to know too! I bought a set of Dirt Devil's for our Lakota, and they rub the battery casing. I was thinking about wheel spacers, but I don't need to go 1-1/2 inches out. Anybody know of an easy 3/4 inch spacer or sinilar that doesn't need new studs?

the wheel spacer are not good at all on a lakota,i put some on mine and it has terrible bump steer and if you plan on jumping your lakota the rear will break your axle.If you don't mind the bumpy ride and don't jump, get them it does handle better, but i wouldn't recommend them.

Clover...
those really are some good points...

I just want her wide for looks and for steering...but what you say makes sense....i ride pretty aggressively and jump alot...so i guess i will not get them probably...
but i think im planning on getting some new tires....Im thinkin 20 inch in the back
anybody runnin 20 inchers?.....im curious to see how much acceleration i gain...and how much top speed i loose.. i have a 13 t sprocket..
oh also..would these 20inch tires make it easier to wheelie?

thanks~~!

something you may want to look at maybe is some new aluminum wheels with wider offset.

i got twenties on the back of themojave and a13 tooth front sprocket, i think you will find you will gain a little acceleration but still have more top speed then stock.

hey juniorsmojave, how hard was it to put that 250r shock on it? How does it sound like with that E-Series on it? looks good. I have Razr 2's on my Mojave mounted on Douglas red label rims. I keep em' polished, matter of fact it's an 2002 and it looks like it just came off of the show room floor. I want to get a full system Big Gun exhaust with a race core, but the tires rub the exhaust, so I have to fit that first. Thanks

mojave thunder, the 250r rear shock is pretty easy. the first thing is to look at yours and on the bottom of the stock shock mount there is welded on spacers on the inside of the mount. they have to come off. it is a tight area to work, but if you have a die grinder with a tapered bit you can do it. go slow and do a little at time until the bottom of the shock fits. the rest is bolt in, easy. the best part of the mod is you can send the shock in to be revalved and set up for your weight and riding. as far as the white bros. exhaust, i heard the supertrapp is better but louder, to be honest my mojave goes plenty good and i like not risking the noise level. i hope this helps.
