Dial-a- Jet on V Force
Kawy
I am not running the dial a jet on a v force, but a 400ex. It does work and does give you an easy change to make small jetting adjustments. I often switch between a k&N and the stock filter depending on how dusty the conditions are. The dial a jet allows me to adjust the jetting for this. I got my ex out on Saturday and hadn't rode it since last October (I know, that's sorry). The last time that I rode it, I had the K&N in it. I put the stock filter in and rode it around and it was running rich (bogging, sputtering). I brought it in the garage, set the dial a jet back to the central position, and it ran great. So it does give you that quick fix option.
Is it worth the $98. Hard to say. If you are running the same set up consistently, just jet it and leave it. If you are running a variety of conditions and set ups, then it probably makes sense.
