Default V Force overheating

Here is the deal.

1) A month ago my temp light came on and fan was not running. Found a blown fuse under the seat and replaced it and the fan came back on, so I didn't worry about it.

2) Two weeks ago I noticed a small leak in my lower radiator hose but the reservoir was still full. I changed the hose and refilled the reservoir with straight coolant (not a 50-50 mix like suggested).

3) Yesterday, the V Force started overheating in the trails. The fan would come on and off but didn't run very long. Fuse in OK.

Questions:

1) Can the 100% coolant cause the V Force thermostat to act up and not work properly?

2) Anyone have any suggestions on troubleshooting this problem?

1) Absolutely. Straight coolant can cause overheating. Go back to 50-50, or you can try "Water-wetter".
