Default P650 larger pilot jets anyone found some?

Has anyone found larger pilot jets? I had to remove my NAPA hose and put the stock snorkle back on to get mine to run right down low. It runs much better now.

It would pop through the carb when cruising at about 10 mph. No matter what I set the idle screws at I could not get rid of it.

I'm affraid I may run into this problem again after the CDI is installed.

yes you can get larger ones @ your kawi dealer....22 series Keihlin carb #45 pilot jets is what you need to ask for.
i dont see in your sig that you've rejetted the mains.....if not you are probably going to be lean from midrange thru top end.....the pilots will help with off the line hesitation.
hope this helps?!

I saw something on this forum about putting a shim under the needles to help with 0 to 1/4 throttle popping

I went to the dealer yesterday and the 22 series were different slightly but different. So they do work?

I'm running the typical 142f 145r, .030 shimmed needles and 3 1/2 turns out on the screws. Muffler mod with 6 3/8 holes, NAPA hose and stock filter. Now I have the stock snorkle back on.

During testing I duct taped up half the intake hose and the poping went away but obviously the mid to upper suffered.

They don't look anything like the stock one, I have been trying to find some myself. I was told they don't make any larger ones than the stock ones.

MD drilled some out and said it was to much and wouldn't idle.

Do you now for a fact they work correctly?

Yes none of them look like they are right on either link. I found what looks to be right at www.carbparts.com. I plan on calling them later this morning.
