Hey Alwaysride.... I live in Xenia.. I bought both bikes from Competition in Springfield. They gave me a decent deal,a nd let myself and my wife ride for a couple hours on any quad we wanted to tryout. The sales guy was most patient in answering any question we had, and letting us ride around. They have a good test area too....

Tommy.... Nahh.. 400's are fine for my kids. They are teens, and ride my wife's 400 Kodiak now with no problems! All the 400's I've ridden have zero 'getaway' factor.. unlike the 500 Vinson, P700, Grizzly, etc.
Alwaysride... I ride on my property sometimes. I live out in the country on 5 acres, and I'm surrounded by farms, woods, rivers and streams, pastures..etc.. it's about 500+ acres I have to ride on without needing to load the bikes up. Off site, I like to ride at Buds farms in Enon... It's a popular place, and VERY technical!! LOT's of ruts, deep mud holes, streams, open fields for drag racing, some whoopties, hills.... No mountains or anything.. but it's fun. It's kind of a good place for all ages as it's not so big to get lost, and there are plenty of different trails to get to the same areas... so you can pick how hard you want to go.... There are some pretty steep rocky hills too! This winter the lower fields flooded and iced over like a HUGE skating rink!! We had a blast blasting out on the ice and doing 200-300 yard ice dancing!! Just had to be ready for if the ice broke through!! My brother got tossed off his bike and slid for a 200 yrds!!
Good place!!

Yeah, we were at Buds last Sat.... my brother got stuck like 5 times... twice in the stream down to the right if your facing the railroad tracks.. He hit a hole that was over the front rack, so had to drag him out over the side of the bank! Things would be fine then sploosh... he'd hit a sink hole and disappear! Luckily he has 589's so he can goose it and keep the snorkle out og the water.... but those tires SUCK on the trails or hills!

hey guys. i am looking for some good people to ride with. i'm new to atv's, and new to the area. how do i get to bud's place in enon from rt. 35? also have any of you tried the dayton dirt rider's club? when i was looking for a quad about a year ago, i went to vista in kettering. they didn't really want to deal and wouldn't let me test ride one. i have heard good things about competition acc. in springfield. i also went to team polaris in fairborn and they were reasonable, friendly, and let me test ride.

Hey downndirty:
I live south of Xenia, out in the country.... I really liked Competition Accessories .. True, they were about $100 higher then a priced quoted at another dealer, but they let my wife and I test ride any atv we wanted for. We were there over 2hrs testing bikes! We ended up buying the P700 for me, and a 400 Kodiak for my wife. Plus now we get discounts on any parts we buy. They have a good selection of parts in stock, and decent prices as well. I'll most likely get a couple of used bikes for the kids there too.
"Bud's" in Enon is a nice place to to.. it has all kind of trails, flat fields for drag racing, tight technical spots, steep rocky hills, streams, mud pits... you name it.. it's there.. It's a very popular spot for riders. The way he works it, is you call ahead of time, and ask to ride...( since it's private land)... you have to sign a waiver the first time you showup, and it's $5 (donation) per rider per day. Well worth the $5!!! Buds a cool guy, and keeps the trails in good shape!! From Xenia, I take 68 north to YellowSprings, then turn left by the elementary school, then first immediate right. Stay on that road till it dead ends, jog right, then immediate left... and stay on that heading north till it dead ends again.... turn right, and Bud's lane is the 3rd lane on the left. You'll see a long lane and a bunch of pickup trucks/trailers towards the back left. Bud usually comes out in his truck to collect the donation, and make sure you've signed your waivers.... if he doesn't by the time you've unloaded, just head over to the white barn. A bunch of us ride there 2-3 times a month. In our group of riders we have all sorts of bikes from P700's, P650, 400-450 Kodiaks, Rincon, Rubicon, Polaris 300, a 500 Vinson, and a few sport quads too. My step brother is hell on a Yamaha Warrior!! Next time we are planning a ride, I'll drop you a message!
