Default What's the best coolant to use in a V-Force

I was whating to know what the best coolant to use in a V-force. I had a piston problem and when it can back from the shop with the new pistions the fan seems to run more. The bike is stock except for a Twin Air filter. Have not changed jets and plugs are checking ok or a little on the rich side.

If you a) are stock displacement and b) keep your radiator fins clean, I would run what Kawasaki recommends. AFAIK, it's a 50-50 mix of water and coolant.

I would say it is due to the engine running a little warmer because the new rings are seating in. When the dealer honed the cylinders for the new pistons and rings, roughness of the cylinders will create a little more heat causing the fan to run more. Everything should go back to normal as soon as the rings get seated in. about 10 hrs. riding time. You will have to go through the break-in period again.lol.

Evans coolant. You will no longer need your fan or over flow bottle. It doesn't mix with water so it doesn't exspan like other coolants and it won't boil over unless it gets over 375 degrees, by then everything would have melted anyway

It is the stock displacement and I wash the radiator out when i go riding. The fins are not bent and water flows thru with no problem. The coolant that is in the bike is what the dealer put in when he replaced the pistons. I have raode the bike for about 20 hours now and the fans runs even when the temp is in the 40's.

Is this stuff ok to run in the P. I read something somewhere about corrosion. Can’t remember what it was about, or what product. Just don’t want to mess up something I can’t see.
