I just got a 88 bayou 220 and I found a k&n jet kit but it says its for like 91-97 or something like that. But on another site it says its for all. My question is will the jet kit work on my 88? Also could someone tell me what would be the best prefilter. I have a k&n filter already but I read that I should use a prefilter since I ride in dusty conditions.

Don't know the answer to the question, but just wanted to tell you I had a Bayou 220 (about a 90 model or so) for about 10 years, and I loved it. Good luck.
