WHAT TYPE OF AIR BOX MODS HAVE OWNERS USED?

 

I have the DG snorkel and 1 TPI valve in my air box.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

I used these on mine, some people have said not to use vents on top of the airbox, but all I can say is mine runs like a champ and hauls azzzzzz[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

So far I have removed a portion of the baffle inside the air box. I kept the bend to force the air around that direction as designed. I removed about 1/2 of the rest, but left the lower 1/2. I also opened up the stock air intake for what it is worth. Works good.

 

Check out my pixs. Runs awesome after you jet up about 4 sizes.

 

I HAVEN'T HEARD OF TPI VENTS, WHAT SIZE ARE THEY AND HOW MANY DO YOU USE. WHERE CAN I FIND THEM? DENNIS KIRK HAS FLOW-RITE AND UNI AIR VENTS.

I heard the best thing to do was just take the snorkle off the air box and rejet... my buddy did this withhis v along with fmf pies and there was a great power diffrence
