.. Been restoring a mojave, 1987. When I went to reinstall the steering stem it looked bent so I had a stem from another 'jave that was much straighter albeit not perfectly straight. When moving to work on teh tie rods I found that they were different lengths- this would explain of the aparent bentness of the first steering stem. My 2000 'jave doesn't have this bend so I wonder if somewhere along the line the steering setup was changed. Any info much appreciated. Thanks [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
