Just read the big bore shootout in ATV Rider and the Prairie/Twin Peaks came out on top. Don't you just love it when when the rags rave about YOUR toys?

I thought it was funny reading that artical. Seemed like they spent the last part of the write up on the Honda apologizing for not picking it number 1. They just couldn't find enough to over come the big V-twin. I bet we'll hear a bunch more complaining about them picking it just because it was fastest. But most of us already knew the prairie was the best one ride and the seat of your pants will tell you which is best.

That was a nice article to read. I like the 10.5 out of 10 for power. That sums it up. The braking is absolutely tremendous on the 700. Best big bore on the market. I have friends that bought Polaris's and they are kicking thier pants. The Polaris is too heavy and bad mileage due to that wieght. The Polaris 700 EFI may be better on the mileage, but sure did not save on the price tag..

10.5 power? I guess they are saying it got too much? can there be a thing as too much? Maybe we should ask shotgun if his 850 is too much! LOL

No, you can never have enough power. Like the old saying" There is no dust up front"

But if the P-700 didn't win, everone would be saying how the RAGS suck and Honda (or whoever won) paid the most in advertising.

Who cares what they say, we all know the Prairie is the best...don't need them to tell us that.

I just mounted them last week and only have 20 miles or so on them so far. I love the tires already. Handling is night and day compared to stock. The front end "Tuck & Roll" has disapeared. The Bighorns are the coolest looking tires IMO. I'm riding in a poker run Saturday and will give a more detailed report on the tires afterwards.
