I have noticed that my head pipes are turning blue further and further down the pipe. Is this normal ? I could see a little dicoloration but these things are really turning blue gold almost every color in the rainbow. Im jetted 144 147.5 2 1/4 and 2 1/2 turns on air screw. K&N filter and napa snorkle. It runs out great plugs look good. Just wanted to see if anyone else is having the blue'sBrent

 

if the header isnt glowing i wouldnt worry bout it. metals tend to discolor when there is heat added to it. ecspecially stainless steel.

My bud just got a new Buell- stainless pipes, fuel injected, 110HP. His pipes are purple, blue, gold etc . I suggested Jet- Hot to him.

 

that just means that its not a thick material that its made out of, my brothers white brothers head pipe does that.. dont worry about it.
