Highlifter ECM Power pack help.

I bought a highlifter ECM Power pack module. I read a couple of reviews on it and ordered it. Now I'm hearing about the new dynatech and wondering if I should have went with it instead. I don't have my p-700 yet(next week). Does anyone have any recommendations for jetting with the highlifter pack. has anyone tried it?

I have the ICM . It works great . No you dont have to rejet. Takes 15 mins to install. Do solder the connections to insure a good connection. The cdi is about 150 more than the icm . They will both have about the same take off but the cdi will do way more for the mid range . I like all my power down low thats why i got the ICM and not the cdi.

Did you bother to hook yours up to a switch. My wife may occasionally ride mine..might be a good idea? Did you notice a big improvement over stock with your k&n and exhaust mod??

No i didnt put a switch on it. Its not uncontrolable power. I dont think you will need a switch. Just tell her not to punch it from a dead stop. The exhaust and K&N filter did a little but i think the snorkle and a little rejeting did the most power gains .

I really can't answer that queation yet redgoblin. Ive only had these tires for a couple of weeks now, but i hear they wear good. But it is a very soft compound tire so i think they will wear a little faster than the others, just stay off paved roads. Im sure you have noticed that these prairie's are hard on rear tires.

You know , ive never topped my bike out. My top speed has been 54mph. Thats why i have the high lifter module and not the cdi. If i want to go fast ill get on the wifes bike [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]You would think with a statement like that id be an old fogie. hell im only 28[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

I now have 11 months and 1,035 miles on my 25" mudlites. Only had 1 puncture the entire time and it occurred recently when I ran over a 2" long nail (which would have punctured any tire). As for wear and tear on the MLs, YES these tires do wear out quickly if you often ride on pavement! I can tell you that my MLs now look very worn down...but then again I have been known to do timed runs on an asphalt road to test out different mods on my P650. While the MLs have a very soft rubber compound, I think you can still get a lot more miles out of these tires if you are careful to stay off of pavement and avoid lots of rock climbing.
I've enjoyed my MLs, but for my next set of tires I will most likely switch to either the Maxxis Bighorns (bias) or the Bear Claws (which are now 6 ply I'm told). I do more fast trail riding/XC racing than going in the deep mud anyway.
