i checked the front plug on my P650 and it has a dark coller to it it doesent have any build up but its black. is it too rich? they have 1200 miles on em

 

I wouldnt think so. It very difficult to read plugs accurately, theres so many ways to go wrong. I just go by the drivability. If its running trouble free, youre jetted good. Heres a link to a good site on jetting, and info about symptoms and the fixes.

vinforcer. or any one else that might know. If the dark plugs are a sigen of runing rich (with stock jetting) would the twin air filter and nappa 7335 fix me up or would i be too lean then?

cueball..... no, i dont have a pipe or exhaust mod and i ride at between 600 and 1000 ft thanx

 

did you properly check the plugs by warming it up and holding it at a constant throttle then shutting the engine off while still holding the throttle at that same position?

you could try adding the snorkel and filter then checking the plugs again some people get away without re-jetting

LOL, we were pretty bored one day, so that was all the motive we needed! it originally started without snow and our tractor, but it took on a whole new meaning when my 650 came into play! it was quite the adrenaline rush sliding around corners in those barrel sleds they were AWESOME fun. we were getting a little carried away and accidently hit a tree with one of the barrels and my friend broke his jaw [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img] (not completely broken but fractured i guess) we decided that barreling was to "hardcore" of a sport to do around trees after that.
