Default V Force Metallic Noise

Hello, I have taken my 700 V Force that has very low hours, to two dealerships with no solutions to my problem. My bike is now out of warranty and was wondering if anyone has had the same problem I do. When it is fully warmed up and i am climbing up a small grade, or while taking off from a start I hear a "screaching" metallic noise from the belt area. It only does this while at lower speeds (almost as if trying to shift, but not up to a fast enough speed to do so). Has anyone else experienced this problem and if so what can be done to correct it?
Thanks for the help!
Brian.

I take it that your belt is not glazed and the tension is right... You don't have an enginebrake so it's not that.

Try taking the clutch cover off, make sure the bike is up on a service stand or get the back wheels off the ground. Start the bike, put it in gear and watch and listen right down at the clutch. Watch the action of the clutch faces as they open and close. The sound should be a little easier to hear with the cover off. Check the clutch faces for any wear. If is a metalic noise, there may be some small metal fragments. The belt skreeetch is different from a metalic sound.

At least with a good look and ear to the problem area, you should be able to narrow it down as to the origin of the noise.
