Im looking for a good all around quad... almost bought the KFX today ($5300.00) but saw an ad for a Predator for $4899.00 (both are 04's)
Would love feedback from anyone that has riden both.

 

I've never ridden the Predator, but $4899 is a really good price, assuming it's a new quad. A good deal in California is still a thousand dollars more than that.

 

Come on guys somebody has to have a opinion on these 2 quads.

 

Predator is pretty nice, but not having reverse would rule it out for me. Just something to consider, which I'm sure you have.

 

hard decision, ask youself if you need reverse, will you be riding trails that require you to back up without getting off your quad...

if it was me I'd get the kfx700, wait a min, I did... [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

IMO the Predator is better in every way,its only down side is it don't have reverse,no biggie it turns tight and the backend is easy to swing around...

You cant beat the Predator in stock form..

You get,Douglas rims,Razr tires,Fox shocks,Braided steel break lines,Chromoly axle,PRO steering and very powerful 42hp 500cc DOHC engine..

To top it all off the 04 models are perfect,shifts nice,wheelies are easy and the ride is smooth...

I really like mine, but then again i have only seen Z400s and clones run i have never road one, Take them both for a ride and pick your fav[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

I decided to go with the Predator...pick it up today after work. I do wish it had reverse, but for the $400.00 it saves me over the
400's I will get my fat butt off and turn it around if I get stuck.
